Digital NexTep (“we”, “us”) is a digital marketing agency based at Kargi Chowk, Trinetra Vihar, Dehradun, Uttarakhand 248001, India. We are the data fiduciary responsible for personal data collected through this website.

What we collect

Information you give us

When you submit an enquiry through our contact form, we collect your name and phone number (both required), and optionally your email address, business name, the service you are interested in, your budget range and your message.

If you contact us by WhatsApp, email or telephone, we hold whatever information you choose to share in that conversation.

Information collected automatically

When you submit an enquiry we also record the page you submitted from, the referring website, and any UTM campaign parameters present in the URL. This tells us which marketing activity produced the enquiry — it is not used to build a profile of you.

If analytics are enabled, Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager collect standard usage data including approximate location derived from IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, and interactions such as clicking a call or WhatsApp button. Google processes this data under its own privacy terms.

How we use it

• To respond to your enquiry and provide the services you ask about.
• To prepare proposals and quotations.
• To improve this website and understand which pages are useful.
• To measure which marketing channels produce genuine enquiries.
• To meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.

We do not sell your personal data. We do not share enquiry details with other businesses, and we never resell an enquiry to another agency or to your competitors.

Legal basis

We process your data on the basis of your consent, given when you voluntarily submit an enquiry, and on the basis of legitimate business interest in responding to prospective clients and operating our website securely.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of service providers who process data on our behalf:

• Supabase — stores enquiries submitted through the contact form.
• Google (Analytics, Tag Manager, Ads) — website analytics and advertising measurement, where enabled.
• Our hosting provider — serves this website.
• WhatsApp / Meta — if you choose to contact us through WhatsApp.

Some of these providers store data outside India. We may also disclose information where required by law.

Cookies

This website sets no cookies of its own. If analytics are enabled, Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager set cookies to measure usage. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install Google’s opt-out browser add-on. Blocking them will not affect your ability to use this site.

How long we keep it

Enquiry records are retained for up to three years from your last contact with us, so we can pick up a conversation where it left off. Records relating to clients are retained for as long as required by Indian tax and accounting law. Analytics data is retained according to the retention period configured in Google Analytics.

You can ask us to delete your data sooner at any time.

Your rights

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected.
• Have your data erased.
• Withdraw consent you have previously given.
• Nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf.
• Raise a grievance about how we have handled your data.

Security

This website is served over HTTPS. Enquiries are stored in a database protected by row-level security policies which permit the website to submit a new enquiry but not to read any existing records. Access to stored enquiries is limited to authorised members of our team.

No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of data transmitted over the internet.

Children

This website is intended for businesses and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.

Third-party links

We link to client websites and other external resources. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites, and we encourage you to read their policies.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised. Material changes will be highlighted on this page.
